# Setting up the Wordnik API

## Introduction
In this guide, we will cover the setup of the Wordnik API for use within CloudBot. This API is used by:
 - plugins/wordnik.py
 
## 1 - Sign Up for a Wordnik Developer Account
You can create an account at http://developer.wordnik.com/. Once you have one, simply fill out the form at that very page.
