Warning: Eggdrops & Windrops with different handle lengths can't share userfiles !!
Installation Instructions
Installation steps:
| 1. | Edit the settings in the eggdrop config file - eggdrop.conf.dist |
| Tip: Don't use any \ / : * ? " < > | characters for the userfile, chanfile, nick and notefile settings in config file | |
| 2. | Copy the eggdrop config file and rename it to "egg.config" |
| Tip: Make sure all file extensions are been shown in Windows Explorer. To check open Windows Explorer, go to Tools menu, choose Folder Options, select View tab and make sure the box next to Hide file extensions for known file types is empty (Not ticked). | |
| 3. | Open a Command Prompt or MS-DOS Prompt Change to the eggdrop's directory For example, if the eggdrop was installed at D:\Windrop\ then type D: then cd D:\Windrop\ And run eggdrop in the userfile creation mode (If you have no userfile) with "eggdrop -m" |
| 4. | With existing userfile you can run eggdrop simply by executing "eggdrop.exe" |
| Tip: How
to load the extra modules included with Windrop: To load the gseen module edit the settings in gseen.conf and add the follow line to the modules section of eggdrop config file source gseen.conf To load the stats modules, edit the settings in stats.conf and add the follow line to the modules section of eggdrop config file source stats.conf |
